Young African Leaders Initiative Online Courses

Got this email from #YALI. It maybe of interest to young people interested in developing skills in leadership the right way...not by jumping fence. lol

YALI is a U.S. Department of State program initiated by President Obama.

Dear Friend,

You asked...and we are delivering! After YALI Network members identified business and entrepreneurship as areas of interest, we developed free online courses to help you learn from experts in these fields. Courses include:
  • Developing a Business Model
  • Raising Capital
  • Growing Your Business
Visit yali.state.gov to begin deepening your business knowledge and developing new professional skills on these topics. You can also find courses in the areas of leadership, public management and civic leadership. Watch the three video units associated with each course, then take a brief quiz to earn a YALI Network Certificate.

Online professional development training is just one of the many resources on entrepreneurship. Explore the site further to get practical advice on starting a business and view inspirational profiles of young African leaders pursuing their own entrepreneurial dreams.

Stay tuned to the YALI Network for more information about a new series of online training courses we will release in 2015. Courses include: Identifying Your Markets, Pitching Your Business Ideas for Investment and Growing Your Start Up- all taught by preeminent experts in the industry.
